This was said by Water Resources Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Kher last evening after visiting the infrastructure and management of Bhakra Beas Management Board at Bhakra-Nangal Dam. The Water Resources Minister said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had reviewed the flood prevention arrangements in the past, in which, according to the instructions given by him, the department will complete all the arrangements to deal with the possible threat of floods during the upcoming monsoon season by June. . He said that this time the water resources department has made canal water available to the farmers as per their demand, which has happened for the first time in the state.
