Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli is once again in the midst of controversies. Vinod Kambli’s wife Andrea Hewitt has alleged that he assaulted her under the influence of alcohol. Vinod Kambli’s wife has lodged a complaint at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai.
The wife alleges that Vinod Kambli threw the handle of the cooking pan in a drunken state, due to which he got injured on the head. According to information, the incident took place between 1 pm and 1.30 pm on Friday when Kambli allegedly reached his Bandra flat in an inebriated state and abused his wife. Vinod Kambli gave a statement on this matter, he says that he has no knowledge about it.
After this he ran to the kitchen and took the handle of the kitchen pan and threw it at his wife. A Bandra police official said that Vinod Kambli’s wife got herself treated at Bhabha Hospital before the arrival of the police.
