The meeting of the united opposition parties continues for the second day in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Leaders of total 26 parties including Congress are participating in this meeting. In the meeting, the name of United Progressive Alliance i.e. UPA has been changed. Now its name has been changed to ‘India’ (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance).

This was announced by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge in a press conference here. On the other hand, the opposition party Congress in Punjab has said that there is no alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in the state. It is only at the national level that the BJP has taken the pinch.

He also announced that the next meeting of ‘India’ will be held in Mumbai. Kharge said that India’s 11-member committee will also be formed soon. We have 26 national level parties with us. Earlier, Janata Dal United informed about changing the name of UPA. He tweeted and said, the new name of anti-Ekta is India. JDU further said, Dil Mile Dal Mile Haya Mahajutan. Meanwhile, CPI(M) leader Derek O’Brien also gave information about changing the name of UPA and said, Chuck de India.

While addressing the meeting, Kharge said that today the central investigation agencies are being armed against the opposition parties. Our leaders are being implicated in false cases. Kharge said that MLAs are being blackmailed or bribed to join BJP and bring down the government. We need to forget our mutual differences and fight against the central government.

He said that Congress has no interest in the post of Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Congress has tweeted that United will stand. In the meeting, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that we have to save the country together. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the country has not made any progress in 9 years.

Meanwhile, Punjab Congress said that they have not formed any alliance with Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. Punjab Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa has said that the alliance at the national level is only on the issue of ordinance. Meanwhile, BJP Punjab President Sunil Jakhar asked whether Congress is the opposition party or the ruling party in the state.
