Bareilly, A soldier has been arrested for killing the wife of his neighbor’s army personnel in Cantt police station area of โ€‹โ€‹Bareilly city in Uttar Pradesh. Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Rahul Bhati gave this information on Friday. He said that on March 13, a case was registered against an unknown person at the Cantt police station for killing Sudeshna (27), wife of Havaldar Manoj Senapati, posted in the UV area signal, with a sharp weapon.

According to Bhati, Pandey told during interrogation that Manoj had some objectionable pictures and videos of his wife on the basis of which he was blackmailing her. According to Bhati, Pandey told the police that on March 13, he reached Manoj’s house on his scooty and asked his wife Sudeshna to call Manoj to delete his wife’s photos and videos, which infuriated her and led to a fight. According to Bhati, Pandey said that he then took out a knife from his bag and repeatedly stabbed Sudeshna on her neck and several other parts of her body. According to Bhati, Pandey told that after killing Sudeshna, he washed his hands and kept the knife in his bag and from there took his scooty and threw the knife and other things on the way while going to the church square.
