Union Budget 2023 | ‘This is a comprehensive budget, which gives justice to all sections’, CM Shinde congratulated PM Modi, Finance Minister Sitharaman on the budget

MumbaiUnion Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023-24 today. The whole country was eyeing this budget as it was the last budget of the second term of the Modi government. After the presentation of the budget by the Finance Minister, various reactions are coming from both the ruling party and the opposition. The opposition is criticizing it, while the ruling party has welcomed this budget. Responding to this, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Sitharaman.

CM Eknath Shinde said, “This budget will boost the overall development of the country and the state, for which I heartily congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.”

He also said that, “It is a comprehensive budget which gives justice to all sections of the society like job creation, farmers, workers, women, youth. I heartily welcome this budget on behalf of the state.

Apart from this, he said that, “Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget in the Amrit Kaal of the country today. This budget is a budget that supports the poor, gives relief to the middle class, promotes industries and boosts infrastructure.

What did Devendra Fadnavis say?

Earlier, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the interests of all sections of the society, including farmers, tribals, women, youth and the middle class, have been kept in mind in the Union Budget. He said, “The tax exemption on income up to Rs 7 lakh will help the lower middle class. On the other hand, the income tax limit of Rs 1.5 lakh on income up to Rs 15 lakh will provide a big relief to the middle class. This budget will help the middle and lower middle class to fulfill their aspirations.”
