Ukraine has launched a major attack on Moscow. Ukrainian military drones have targeted two buildings in Moscow. However, no casualties were reported. The mayor of Moscow said that the attack was carried out at night in which buildings were damaged. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said there was some damage to the two office towers, but no one was injured.

After the attack, Russia closed Moscow’s Vnukovo airport and redirected flights to and from it. Moscow, about 500 kilometers (310 miles) from the border with Ukraine, and the surrounding area have been rarely targeted by drones during the conflict in Ukraine.

On Friday, Russia said it had intercepted two Ukrainian missiles in the southern Rostov region, bordering Ukraine, after debris fell on the city of Taganrog, injuring at least 16 people.
