Talking to the media, ASI Satnam Singh said – when he reached near the market, he saw that some work was going on near the famous cloth merchant Jaggi Bagi silk store. Meanwhile, someone told that a criminal has entered their shop. ASI Satnam Singh said – I took the name of God and entered the said store with my service revolver in hand. Where the accused started running away from the spot. But they caught him in Jafa. There was no helper with him at the time of the incident. But still I caught them and reported the matter to the higher authorities.

CCTV installed inside the shop after the incident social media (Social media) started going viral. After which the matter reached SSP J. Ilanchejian, then the decision was taken to honor the ASI. SSP J Elanchejian felicitated ASI Satnam Singh and handed over a certificate of appreciation after informing him about the third accused arrested on Friday. SSP J Elanchejian said – Satnam Singh’s feat was commendable.

SSP Jay Elanchejian said- the name of ASI Satnam Singh DGP (DGP) will be sent to the office. He has been recommended to be promoted from ASI to Sub-Inspector.
