Three accused arrested with heroin, pistol 32 bore, cartridges and drug money

Punjab Police: Three accused have been arrested by the team of RAZ Anti-Narcotics cum Special Operation Cell Camp at Face 7 Mohali on the directions of IG Rupnagar Rage Gurpreet Singh Bhullar. The police have succeeded in recovering from them 50 grams of heroin, a pistol of 32 bore country along with 04 cartridges and drug money of Rs.2,26000/-.

Inspector Harminder Singh in-charge of Range AT Narcotics cum Special Operation Cell Range Rupnagar said that on the middle of the night of May 3 under the supervision of Rage Anti-Narcotics Cum Special Operation Cell Camp at Mohali, a police party including SI Sukhwinder Singh spied near. Chowk Mohali was present. Where the information was received that Shashipal alias Shashi son of late Joginder Singh resident of village Salempur district Hoshiarpur that Garshankar along with his other associates is in the business of selling heroin in Mohali area. He also has an illegal weapon. A case number 76 dated 03.05.2023 dated 29/61/85 NDPS Act, 25/54/59 A Act was registered against the accused Shashipal alias Shashi at police station Phase-1 Mohali.

Shashipal alias Shashi from near Spice Chowk Mohali and his accomplices Mandeep Singh alias Deep son of Shingara Singh resident of Mugowal Police Station Mahilpur District Hoshiarpur near Punia Road Pandtawala Mohalla Police Station City Banga District Nava Shahr and Raman Bhanot son of Balbhadar Singh resident of Village Salempur Police station Garshankar district Hoshiarpur arrested the three accused from their village Salempur and recovered 50 grams of heroin, one pistol 32 bore country with 04 cartridges, drug money of Rs.2,26000/- and a swift car number PB-07-AL-5859 which accused Mandeep Singh alias Deep has been arrested. The interrogation of the accused Mandeep Singh alias Deep revealed that he is the first case number 52/2023 A/D 21,29/61/85 NDPS Act. And Case No. 53/2023 A/D 21,29/61/85 NDPS Act was absconding in Mahilpur District Hoshiarpur. The accused are under police remand. On the other hand, it is expected to be enlightened by inquiring more deeply.
