A 100-bed prefabricated field hospital will be constructed by the Bihar Health Department to increase the convenience of the patients admitted to the Nalanda Medical College Hospital. Rs 7.10 crore will be spent on this. Along with this, a 20-bed ICU will also be constructed in this medical college at a cost of two crore rupees. Apart from this, PMCH has 20 beds, while preparations are on for the construction of 30-bed ICU in Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital. Tender has been issued by the department to add additional facilities in the hospitals. It is believed that before June, the ICU facility will be increased in all the hospitals.
Aura ID will be made for every person, there will be teleconsultation
Through the campaign from January 30 to April 13, a target has been set for the maximum number of Abha IDs and teleconsultations in the state. Aabha ID will have health profile of every person. With this, when that person falls ill, the doctor can get the complete details from the ID. Through the Aura ID campaign in Bihar, a target has been set to develop a total of 20,31,000 Aura IDs in the state and conduct 47,225 teleconsultations daily. States making maximum achievements in the campaign are to be honored at the national level.
Beds will also increase in SKMCH of Muzaffarpur
With the addition of 70 additional beds in the ICU in the three major medical colleges of the state by the Health Department, cheap treatment of serious patients will be possible. The health department has already started preparations in Muzaffarpur due to AES, a serious disease that spreads during summer. With the increase of 30 additional beds here, free treatment will be possible for other types of patients including children. Similarly, by increasing 20 beds in PMCH and 20 additional beds in NMCH, the patients will get more benefit.
