Bengaluru City Deputy Forest Conservator N Ravindra Kumar has confirmed this arrest. He says that Santosh was wearing tiger claws and he sent his officials inside the show who brought Santosh out. According to sources, Santosh is still in police custody. During the investigation, Santosh revealed that he had inherited the tiger paw from his ancestors. Officials have sent the bag nail to a forensic lab for confirmation.

Let us tell you that under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, wearing or displaying any part of any animal is a punishable offence. This law provides strict protection for endangered species like tigers. Anyone can be imprisoned for three to seven years for this crime. Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Varthur Santosh runs a cow-selling business in Bangalore and also owns a real estate business. So far, neither the contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada nor the makers of the show or the channel has issued any official statement on the whole matter.
