About 105 km of road falls under the three tolls at Majari of Nawanshahr, Nangal Shaheed of Hoshiarpur and Mangarh. There is a company toll on this road after every 35 km. Passengers traveling from Nawanshahr to Dasuha, Pathankot and onwards to Jammu and Kashmir had to pay a fee at these tolls.

The toll company had appealed to the government to extend the toll established in 2007, which has not been accepted. Thus, now 105 km road will become toll free. P. W. According to the D Department, from February 15, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will reach these tolls and inform the people about their closure.

With the removal of toll, the drivers coming from Gharshankar to Balachore-Ropar will get relief. About 3200 vehicles pass through Majari Toll Plaza daily, which means one lakh drivers in a month. Now there will be relief from these tolls. 4000 vehicles pass through Nangal Shaheed and a revenue of Rs 4.50 lakh is earned. Apart from this, 2000 vehicles pass through and a revenue of Rs 2 lakh was collected.
