After the film ‘Gadar-2’ became a hit at the box office, Sunny Deol has made up his mind to leave politics and work as a film actor. He has announced in an interview that he will not contest the 2024 elections.
He said that he will remain as an actor. You can do any work. You cannot multitask. When I came into politics, I thought that such things would happen, but I can do those things as an actor. Because people are getting a lot of love.
Said- I can serve the country better by becoming an actor
Sunny Deol said that as an actor I can do whatever my heart desires. What I don’t want to do in politics, I can’t stand if I say I will. When I go to the Parliament, I feel that the people running the country are sitting here, the leaders of all the parties are sitting, but how do they behave and we ask others not to behave like that.
Our behavior is required. When things don’t look right, I feel like going somewhere else. Now I will not contest any election in 2024. My choice as an actor will remain. I will continue to serve the country in the same way. I am sure that as an actor I can serve the youth and the country better.
Politics does not suit our family
Sunny Deol said that politics does not suit his family. First it was Papa (Dharmendra) and now it is me. Sunny Deol said that if the BJP asks him to contest the 2024 elections, he will refuse. What they cannot do, they have tried once. He cannot and does not want to do politics. This is their will.
Bank of Baroda has also withdrawn the orders
On the other hand, the notice issued by the Bank of Baroda for the auction of his bungalow has also been withdrawn. According to Bank of Baroda’s explanation, the notice published in the newspaper for the auction of the house of Ajay Singh Deol alias Sunny Deol on 20 August 2023 has been withdrawn due to technical glitches.
This bungalow of Sunny Deol is located in Gandhigram Road Juhu Andheri Mumbai Sub Urban. According to the notice of the first bank, Sunny Deol owes a total of 55 crore 99 lakh 80 thousand 766 rupees and interest from 26 December 2022. The reserve price of the bungalow was set at Rs 51 crore 43 lakh.
