He instructed the concerned employees that people should not face any problem in submitting the forms. He said that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate and other senior officers should also regularly monitor this process so that voter registration can be encouraged.

The Deputy Commissioner said that SGPC The work of preparation and printing of voter lists related to the election process will be done from 01 March 2024 to 20 March 2024. He said that the preliminary e-roll will be published on 21 March 2024. He further informed that claims and objections can be submitted till 11 April 2024. He said that the final publication of voter lists will be done on May 3, 2024.

It may be mentioned that for voter registration for SGPC elections, the person should be a case holder Sikh. A person who cuts or shaves his beard, smokes beedi/cigarette or drinks alcohol cannot register himself as a voter.
