Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Chandigarh on December 22. He will inaugurate the Rs 375 crore project from Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology located in Sector 26. According to the details sent by the Chandigarh administration to the Union Home Ministry, Amit Shah will inaugurate the country's first Center for Cyber Operations and Security Center built at a cost of Rs 88 crore in the Chandigarh Air Force Heritage Center building. Apart from this, Amit Shah will inaugurate 140 rooms of Himachal Boys Hostel at Punjab Engineering College at a cost of Rs 20 crore, new STP plant of the Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs 89 crore.
One STP at Raipur Kalan at a cost of Rs 50 crore, STP plant at Raipur Khurd at a cost of Rs 40 crore, Administrative Block at Sector 26 CCTE at a cost of Rs 18 crore, 192 Type-II Government Houses at Dhanas at a cost of Rs 45 crore. with the cost and will inaugurate the Government Middle School building at Sector 56 Pulsaura at a cost of about Rs.7 crores.

Along with the joining of new SIs and constables of the police department, Amit Shah will give around 25 Tata Safari vehicles to the police department. Tata Safari car has been bought for 3 crore 75 lakh rupees. Command and control vehicles will also be provided to the police at a cost of Rs 75 lakh to keep a close eye on dharnas and other unruly incidents taking place in the city.
Apart from inaugurating many projects, Amit Shah will also lay the foundation stone of many new projects. For this, some projects have been identified by the UT administration. Among them, the engineering department near Sector 16 prepared to lay the foundation stone of the sewage treatment plant to be built at a cost of Rs 6.5 crore in the Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Rs 10 crore in the Government High School Sarangpur and Rs 16 crore in Karsan. is going
