In Sardarpura village of Abohar, Punjab, the case of two brothers entering a shop and beating, attacking with a knife and robbing one lakh rupees has been proved false in the police investigation. While the police officials have registered a case against the attackers based on the statements of the injured and started the investigation.

According to reports, Rakesh and Mukesh son of Hansraj resident of Sardarpura were admitted to the hospital after being injured in the attack. He said about looting one lakh rupees. On which DSP Avtar Singh and Police Station Incharge Gurmeet Singh immediately reached the spot and checked the CCTV cameras. It has been learned that 6-7 youths entered the shop and ransacked, attacked the shop owners with knives and injured them and escaped.

While in this incident, the case of robbery of 1 lakh rupees did not come up. The DSP said that the investigation into the incident revealed that the said youth had asked for petrol from the shopkeeper. When he refused, Mukesh, a resident of Dutaranwali Dhani, who was asking for petrol, called half a dozen of his friends and attacked him.

Here, the police have registered a case under section 452, 379, 323, 324, 427 against Mukesh and 6-7 unidentified youths and started searching for the rest of the attackers. They have also appealed to the people not to mislead the police, to tell the truth to the police, so that the matter can be properly investigated.
