The only man in the world, who has not seen girls in his life

Nature has created man and woman in such a way that they are the ancestors of each other and only with their union can human civilization progress. No matter what age a person is, he gets attached to a person of the opposite sex in some form or the other. Be it mother and son, husband and wife, siblings, friends or office colleagues.

It is not possible for a person of one gender to never come into contact with a person of the other gender in his entire life. But you will be surprised to know that there is a man in the world (who has never seen a woman) who has never seen a woman in his entire life. He didn’t know what girls were really like. He died of old age, but he remained untouched by girls. This story is about that person.

According to reports from the Daily Mail and Storypic websites, a man was born in the year 1856 in Halkidiki, Greece. His name was Mihailo Tolotos. Shortly after his birth, Tolotos’ mother died. There is no information about his father. After his mother passed away, he was adopted by Orthodox monks living on Mount Athos in Greece. Raised him and made him a monk.

Became a monk
The monks had their own set of rules that the Tolotos had to follow. One of these rules was that girls were not allowed in his monastery. Because of this, Tolotos always stayed away from women. It is believed that the monks living on that mountain had a belief since the 10th century that girls and domestic animals (cows, sheep) could not come to the mountain. The reason for this rule was to ensure that the monks living in all the monasteries of Mount Athos could observe the lifelong celibacy that was deemed necessary for them.

Died at the age of 82
Tolotos could have broken this rule and met the girls, but he chose to stay on Mount Athos for the rest of his life. He never had any desire to leave his monastery and see the outside world. He died in 1938 at the age of 82. But the man never saw the girls until he died. The man was buried with a special rite by all the monks living on Mount Athos.

He believed that he was the only person in the world who died without knowing what a woman looked like. During that time, several newspapers also published reports on Tolotos’ death and reported that he had seen not only girls, but also cars, planes or movies.
