“DIMITRION” aims to employ children from 5 to 12 years old beyond school hours in a safe and pleasant environment, planning interactive educational actions and creative activities with objects and goals indicative of:
- the cultivation of empathy in order to inform and educate against all forms of violence and intimidation practices
- raising awareness against sexual and any other form of abuse
- promoting the values โโof volunteerism
- the development of environmental awareness
- familiarity with the cultural environment
- familiarization with sustainable living and primarily highlighting the benefits of healthy eating and exercise.
The K.D.A.P. operates 11 months per year and its operating hours are indicatively configured as follows: 1:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. during the winter months and 07:30 am – 3:30 p.m during the summer months.

For the staffing of the K.D.A.P. “DIMETRION” APOSTOLI invites candidates to apply for one full-time Teacher position with a fixed-term contract.
Standard qualifications
1. Degree – University Diploma of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education or the Department of Philology of the Faculty of Philosophy or the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy or the Pedagogical Department of Secondary Education or the Department of Educational and Social Policy of the country or the corresponding recognized department abroad or Graduate School of Fine Arts or the Department of Music Studies or the Department of Theater Studies – Degree from a national university or the corresponding recognized department abroad.
2. Certified good knowledge of the English language (level B2)
It will be evaluated work experience in the organization of creative and experiential activities for any of the following themes:
- cultivating respect for diversity,
- prevention against practices of violence and intimidation,
- promoting the spirit of volunteerism and collective consciousness,
- development of environmental awareness and respect for the natural environment,
- familiarization with cultural heritage, but also contemporary artistic creation and development of artistic workshops
- improving eating habits by highlighting the benefits of a healthy diet, as well as promoting good physical condition through exercise
- prevention of sexual and any other form of abuse.
3. Letters of recommendation are preferred.
Conditions
Candidates should have:
- Greek citizenship or citizenship of a European Union member state. Since the candidate has the citizenship of a member state of the European Union, he must necessarily know the Greek language at the level determined and established in accordance with par. 4 of article 28 of the P.D. 50/2001 9 Official Gazette A39, as amended and valid each time.
- Have fulfilled (for men) their military obligations or have been legally exempted from them, or if they have been recognized as conscientious objectors, have fulfilled, in accordance with the special provisions of military legislation, unarmed service or alternative civil social service.
- Degrees awarded by educational institutions abroad are accepted, provided they have recognition of academic equivalence and correspondence by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Titles and Information (D.O.A.T.A.P.), in accordance with the provisions of law 3328/2005 (ฮฮ80) or decision on recognition of professional qualifications based on p.d. 38/2010 (ฮฮ78) or decision recognizing the professional equivalence of a higher education degree with a related degree for the teaching field.
- Master’s degrees and doctoral diplomas granted by educational institutions abroad are accepted as long as they are recognized as academically equivalent by D.O.A.T.A.P. or recognition of professional equivalence of a related subject with an educational branch)
