A 25-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Bharsinghpura village of Phillaur town under Jalandhar. The deceased has been identified as Manav (25), a resident of village Bhandara. He was the only brother of four sisters and his father had already died. After working in Dubai for four years, he came to the village only 8 months ago. The family is in a bad situation.
According to the information received, Manav, a resident of village Bhandera, had left his house late on Monday evening with his friend Amit to go somewhere. Amit and Manav had also worked together in Dubai. Due to this, a very deep friendship developed between the two. Both reached Bharasinghapura village to meet their friend Hardeep Kumar. Together with Hardeep Singh, all three started to go out of the village on the same bike.
Amit told the police that Jasbir and Pawan of Bharasinghpura village stopped him on the way. Manav and Amit's friend Hardeep Singh got into an argument with both the accused brothers.
Meanwhile, both the brothers got angry and took out a knife. Manav came forward to save his friend Hardeep when he was stabbed. The knife hit Manav. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. Where doctors declared him dead during treatment.
According to Amit, the two brothers were already fighting with Hardeep. Due to this enmity, this attack was carried out on Monday. The family members of the deceased Manav told the police that Manav was receiving threats on the phone earlier. The family has also requested the police to trace the said number.
According to information, the deceased was the only brother of four sisters. The police have recorded the statements of Manav's family members. The police have registered a case of murder against both the brothers.
