Once again the mood of the weather is about to change. The knock of the Western Disturbance has once again brought about a change in weather. By the end of April, the heat is not felt as much as it should be. There was light drizzle in many areas of Punjab in the past due to which the temperature dropped.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in many districts of Punjab for the next 5 days. The IMD has issued a yellow alert in the state till May 1. On April 30, May 2 and May 4, one after the other, new Western Disturbance is going to be active and wind speed of 40 to 50 km per hour is expected. There may also be light rain at some places.
On Friday evening, there was drizzle in some adjoining areas including Faridkot, Moga and there were clouds in some places. The temperature has crossed 390 in Punjab. Due to the formation of Western Disturbance, rain is expected in Punjab till May 2. An alert was earlier issued in Punjab till April 30, but now the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert till May 1 in view of the effect of Western Disturbance.
