Advocate Ritesh Aggarwal told in the press conference that since 2017, the sports organization “Netball Promotion Association Reg. A writ petition was filed in the Punjab Haryana High Court, Chandigarh by the General Secretary of “Punjab” Karan Avtar Kapil. The complaint alleged that officials of the “Punjab Netball Association” had created a bogus national body called the “Netball Federation of India-Ad Hoc Committee”.

On the basis of which fake certificates were distributed to their players by conducting national games in Punjab and some other states. On the basis of which the netball player can get admission for government job and doctor degree. Here the responsible employees and officials of “Sports Department Punjab” Chandigarh openly supported the officials of the fake national organization “Netball Federation of India-Ad Hoc” / Advocate Ritesh Agarwal said that only after that Netball Promotion Association Reg. Punjab General Secretary Karan Avtar Kapil had to approach the court, the Vigilance Department and the government.

He said that as soon as the court had to take a strict stance to do justice in this case, “Netball Promotion Association Reg.” General Secretary of “Punjab” Karan Avtar Kapil started receiving threats. In this regard, information has been given to the higher officials of the vigilance department. But no action has been taken even after lapse of 3-4 months, apart from this the aggrieved party has also informed the Hon’ble Court that another registered inquiry on the same subject is pending with the Vigilance Department on 30/11/2022. .

In this regard, the Hon’ble High Court has sought response from the Vigilance and the Punjab Government in the ongoing investigation against the Netball Federation of India-Ad Hoc Committee, Netball Sports Association of Punjab, “Punjab Netball Association” and the responsible employees and officials. The Hon’ble High Court has ordered the Sports Department, Punjab Government, Chief Bureau of Vigilance, DGP Punjab Police and the Secretary to the Punjab Government to summon the report by August 16.
