Tomato Price Hike: Rising prices of tomatoes have hit the common man’s pocket. The prices of tomatoes are increasing continuously across the country. This sudden increase in the price of tomato has made people worried. But for some farmers, rising tomato prices have paved the way for them to become rich. A similar experience happened to Rajendra, a resident of Lakshmipur in Chamarajanagar taluk of Karnataka.

Buyers upset, farmers rich

These days the prices of tomatoes are skyrocketing. Due to which, while common consumers are concerned, some farmers are earning good profits by selling tomatoes at high prices and fulfilling their desires. One such case has come to light from Karnataka. Actually, Karnataka is one of the major tomato producing states of India. Karnataka Kolar and Chamarajanagar are world famous for tomato cultivation.

Bought SUV by selling tomatoes

A farmer named Rajesh of Chamarajnagar district of Karnataka grew tomatoes on his 12 acres of land and earned around Rs 40 lakh this season. Rajesh now bought an SUV car. Rajesh says that now he is looking for a good bride.

Rajesh says that he has grown tomatoes in his 12 acres of land and has sold around 800 bags of tomatoes. From which he earned around 40 lakh rupees. Rajesh says that if tomato prices remain the same, he can earn more than one crore rupees.

Now looking for a bride

Rajesh says that he has proved that even a farmer can earn well. Now he is looking for a good bride. According to Rajesh, earlier girls used to reject him for marriage as the bride’s family preferred government and corporate jobs. But he has proved that if the farmer works hard, his economic condition can also be good. After buying an SUV, I am now looking for a bride.
