Praneet Kaur has once again brightened the name of Punjab. Praneet Kaur has won the Gold Medal in the ongoing Asia Cup Archery Stage-1 Women's individual events at Baghdad, Iraq.

Playing for India, Praneet Kaur beat Iran's Fatemeh Hemati to win the women's compound archery gold medal. Praneet Kaur defeated Fatemeh 138-135 while Prathmesh Jokar defeated compatriot Kushal Dalal 146-144 for the men's title.

Sharing this joy, the player's father Ma: Avtar Singh Mandhali said that daughter Praneet has achieved many things under the guidance of coach Surinder Singh Randhawan of Punjabi University, Patiala.
