The constable involved in the robbery of 2.5 million gold was arrested

Bathinda Police has arrested a Hauldar in the case of looting gold worth Rs 2.25 crore in Sangrur, Punjab. Accused Ashish Kumar is posted in Abohar City Police Station. However, the police had recovered the looted gold only yesterday. While 4 accused are still out of police custody. The police are trying to arrest the absconding accused.

Gold worth about 2.25 crore rupees, weighing about 3 kg 765 grams, was looted by unidentified persons from the train coming from Delhi to Bathinda at Sangrur railway station in Abohar. Some of the looters were wearing police uniforms. After the incident in Sangrur, the entire Punjab was on alert. Bathinda police found some persons in a vehicle. On searching them, the looted gold was recovered, but when the police came under control, all the robbers escaped from the spot.

Out of which the police has arrested a policeman who is posted in the police station city Abohar late at night. whose name is being told as Ashish Kumar. Currently, only one policeman has been arrested in this case. While the arrest of 4 people is pending.

Civil Line Police SHO Yadwinder Singh says that we have arrested one accused. While the others will also be arrested soon. Others pose a challenge to the police. Until the police arrest these people, it is difficult to sit in peace.
