Husband Manpreet Singh and his elder brother killed Ramandeep together. Ramandeep was pregnant and had 2 children before. Kala Singh, brother of the deceased Ramandeep Kaur, a resident of village Basti Gonyana, said that his sister was married 15 years ago to Manpreet Singh with whom she has 2 children and she was still pregnant. Brother-in-law Manpreet Singh used to suspect him that he had physical relations with someone else. This suspicion made JJ Manpreet and his elder brother Gurpreet Singh the killers of Raman. The two brothers first beat up Ramandeep. On August 12, the victim tried to contact the sister but could not talk.

On Tuesday, when the victim’s family reached home, it was found that Ramandeep was murdered and his body was thrown in the field. Then the victim’s family informed about the matter in the police control room, after the investigation, the teams reached the spot and based on the statements of the victim’s family, a case was registered against the husband and Jeth. After the arrest, the accused has been taken on remand.
