Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that with the appointment of campus managers, the appearance of government schools in Punjab has started to change. He was presiding over a one-day training of campus managers here today.

During his presidential speech, Bains said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has launched an education revolution to improve the functioning of government schools in Punjab. Campus managers have been appointed under this.

He said that with the appointment of the campus manager, the pressure of the school maintenance work on the school principal has remained insignificant, due to which the principal is now working only in the direction of improving the educational environment. He said that the appointment of campus managers has started yielding good results.

Bains said that in the last one and a half years, he has visited many schools in the state of Punjab and now when a person mentions the name of a school, all the problems related to that school come to mind. He appealed to the campus managers to work as an arm of the school principal and give the best appearance to the schools.

The School Education Minister urged the campus managers to fulfill their new responsibility with service spirit and asked them to pay special attention to cleanliness and create a safe environment for the students in the school. He said that the state government has released a special grant for the cleanliness of the schools, using which the schools will ensure the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

On this occasion, Education Secretary Kamal Kishore Yadav, DPI. School Sanjeev Kumar and District Education Officer Mohali Ginni Duggal were present.
