He said that the Punjab government is committed to provide transparent, effective and accountable administration in the state. He also said that his government is making concerted efforts to restore the ancient glory of the state.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the day is not far when Punjab will emerge as the leading state of the country due to the tireless efforts of the state government. Bhagwant Mann said that he has already drawn up a comprehensive plan to create a ‘Rangala Punjab’ for future generations. He sarcastically said that the previous rulers never came out of their luxurious palaces during their tenure but they are roaming in every nook and cranny of the state to usher in a new era of peace, progress and prosperity.
The Punjab CM further said that this pace will be continued in the coming days to give further boost to the development and prosperity of the state. Bhagwant Mann said that continuous efforts are being made in this regard and this noble work cannot be carried out without the support of the people. He said that there is no other example of ‘Sarkar Aaphe Dwar’ program across the country as no state government bothers to spend so much time to go to people’s homes and solve their problems.
He said that this program helps to test the performance of government officials/employees along with prompt resolution of people’s problems. He said that it is the need of the hour to ensure good governance for the people by making their daily work easy and this will help in getting to know the ground realities and improving the functioning of the offices.

CM Mann said that our government has taken major initiatives to break the backbone of the mafia that flourished during the rule of the previous governments. The state government is making tireless efforts for the convenience of the common people through historic initiatives. He said that the Punjab government has given 600 units of free electricity to the people on every bill.
Bhagwant Mann said that ‘Schools of Eminence’ are being established across the state to provide quality education to students. Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established in the state to provide free quality health services to the people. He said that more than 29000 government jobs have been given to eligible youth on the basis of merit.
Also he said that since he belongs to a common family and is completely connected to the land, he is well aware of the problems faced by different sections of the society. He assured the people that all their problems will be solved and the state government is standing with them to solve all their problems. He said that the state government is committed to the progress of Punjab and the well-being of its people.
