Avalanche News: All roads have been closed in Sikkim due to severe snow storm near China border. The blizzard struck near the historic Nathu La Pass on the China border at around 12.20 pm on Tuesday.
According to local media reports, at least 6 people have died due to the blizzard, while more than 80 tourists are trapped in the snow. Reports claim that traffic on the Jawaharlal Nehru Road connecting Nathula Pass to Sikkim’s capital Gangtok has been blocked due to the storm.

However, the local administration has not yet confirmed the death of anyone. Rescue operation is in progress. Some videos of the blizzard have also surfaced on social media. However Pro Punjab TV does not confirm them.
