Tecno Phantom V Fold with 5 Camera to Soon Launch in India, Production Begins in Noida Factory

Chinese smartphone maker Tecno introduced the Tecno Phantom V Fold at the Mobile World Congress last month. The company has told that this foldable smartphone is being produced in its Noida factory. The capacity of this factory is to manufacture 24 million handsets annually. It is the first foldable smartphone in the country with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ SoC.

This smart fone Will be made available in two variants – 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB. The company has told that it will be launched in the country on April 11 and its sales will start from April 12. Its starting price is Rs 77,777. This price is for limited stock and will be available only on purchase from Amazon. The company has not given information about its general price.

The smartphone flaunts a 6.42-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,550 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz when you close it. On opening it, its display is 7.85 inches and the resolution is 2,000 x 2,296 pixels. This display is bigger than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. It is accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It has a triple camera unit on the rear, which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel 2x zoom lens, and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. The company has given two selfie cameras in it, in which a 32-megapixel main lens is placed on the front screen and a 16-megapixel lens inside.

Its 5,000 mAh battery supports 45 W fast charging. There is no wireless charging option in it. The company claims that its battery can be charged up to 40 percent in 15 minutes.
