Asim Jameel, son of Pakistan’s famous Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel, has died. The incident took place in Tulamba Tehsil in Khanewal district of Punjab. Asim Jameel’s body was taken to Tulumba Hospital.
Police confirmed the shooting
According to Pakistani media, while confirming the incident, DPO Khanewal Rana Umar Farooq Salamat said that Asim Jameel has been shot. The bullet hit him in the chest. However, the other side has also come out. On the other hand, a relative of Tariq Jameel has said in a statement that Asim Jameel may have committed suicide. At present, the police are investigating the whole matter.
Tariq Jameel appealed to the people
Apart from this, the authorities have started investigation from every aspect related to the incident. Maulana Tariq Jameel also described it as an accidental death after the death of his son Asim Jameel in Tulamba. Maulana Tariq Jameel requested people to remember the child in their prayers during this critical time. Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of this incident.

The former Prime Minister expressed grief
People of the country and abroad have expressed grief over the death of Maulana Tariq Jameel’s son. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over Asim’s death. He said that we are all with you in this hour of sorrow.
