Anurag Kashyap in his latest interview Sushant Singh Rajput Has made a disclosure about which he still regrets. Sushant had made a request to the director three weeks before saying goodbye to this world but he refused the project. There was a reason behind doing this.

But it also made me realize that I don’t need to say everything… for example, the entire tussle between me and Abhay. There was an article on why a very good actor like Abhay is not in films anymore, and I talked about my experiences.
He further said, ‘Something that happened 13 years ago. I didn’t need to say it publicly. I felt very bad the day the unfortunate incident happened with Sushant Singh Rajput. Three weeks before that he was trying to reach me because he wanted to talk. But I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to talk’. You feel guilty. So I tried to contact Abhay and I apologized to him, as someone had told me that he was upset about me speaking publicly.

Anurag Kashyap said, “It took me a year and a half to understand many things during the illness. I used to react a lot. I used to say those things in anger to those things that made me feel upset. It took me a while to realize that I was shouting, I was shouting in a room full of people. No one is listening to each other, not just me. This is what social media has become. And I backed away. I said, ‘Why am I reacting to this? What’s troubling me?”
Anurag also shared screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation he had with Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager in 2020. He wrote, “I am sorry that I am doing this but this chat is from three weeks before his death… Had a chat with his manager on 22nd May. Haven’t done it yet but feel the need for it now. Yes, I did not want to work with him for my own reasons.
