Stock Market Opening: Today the business has opened with good momentum in the market and the Sensex is seeing an increase of about 100 points. Today, the level of 17700 in Nifty was crossed in the initial minutes itself and this level has been seen for the first time since December 11.

Top gainers / top losers in the market
NTPC 2.54 percent, ONGC 2.48 percent and PowerGrid 1.78 percent are seen in the top climbers. Trading is being done at 1.61 percent in BPCS and 1.55 percent in IOC.

Tata Motors is down 1.21 per cent and HCL Tech is down 0.9 per cent. Business is going on with weakness in Tech Mahindra and it has slipped 0.55 percent. Eicher Motors is down 0.49 per cent.
Market condition today in pre-market
If we look at the domestic stock market in the pre-market, the BSE Sensex was trading at 59,343 with a gain of 160.57 points, or 0.27 percent, and the Nifty was trading with a gain of 50 points.
