State Special Operation Cell arrested 5 terrorists

Punjab Police has foiled the big conspiracy of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, which was preparing to devastate Punjab before independence. The State Special Operation Cell of the police busted the module and arrested 5 terrorists. SSOC AIG Ashwini Kapoor said that these terrorists were given a list to kill some leaders, police officers and big businessmen. Reiki of some people was also done with them.

Among the arrested terrorists are Gagandeep Singh alias Guri resident of Hans Kal Jagraon (Gurdaspur), Ashish alias Gopi Wali of Gurdaspur, Sagar Masih alias Raja Rajeev Masih alias Mona resident of village Kotla Gujran and Sanamdeep Singh Cheema. Police teams were after them for two weeks. The team had received information that a big conspiracy against India was being hatched. After this, the police arrested them after collecting intelligence and conducting a technical investigation.

The new module is known to be linked to foreign handlers who targeted Rajeev Mahajan in Batala on 24 June 2023. They were operating this separate module through these means to carry out various incidents of target killing in the state.

The investigation has revealed that the terrorists are identifying the youth in India using a fake name, Ranjodh Singh, and are recruiting gang members through jailed criminals. Handlers use social media to intimidate such youths and transfer money to their bank accounts to carry out premeditated killings in the state. AIG Ashwini Kapoor said that a case has been registered against the arrested terrorists under Sections 153, 153A and 120B of the IPC, Sections 25(7) and 25 of the Arms Act and Sections 18 and 20 of the Unlawful Activities Act UAPA.
