Teaching English to Adolescents Programe: In order to improve the English language and communication skills of the children of Punjab, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains started another exclusive course at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration.
Bains thanked the US Embassy for supporting this noble cause and also encouraged the participants to make the most of this opportunity. He reiterated that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making all possible efforts to provide quality education to the children of the state.

Heidi Faust, Director of Special Projects for TESOL International, Dr. Tamarika is leading the program along with Khavatsiashvili. Both have years of experience running education programs for English teachers around the world.
At the event, Ruth Gode, Regional English Language Officer of the US Embassy, presented her views and thanked Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for his support. Miss Gode said that the US Embassy funds these projects because the English language plays an important role for students in getting jobs and higher education.
