According to information, Twitter’s services remained disrupted on Thursday. Users across the world faced outages. Users were unable to post tweets, send messages or login to the social microblogging platform.
On posting new tweets, users received a pop-up saying, ‘You have exceeded the daily limit for sending tweets.’ Other Twitter users got an over-the-air message that ‘we’re sorry, we weren’t able to send your tweet’.
According to Downdetector.com, more than 12,000 Facebook users have reported receiving the error message. At the same time, about 7,000 such cases were registered on Instagram as well. Users also reported problems with Facebook’s online messaging service Messenger.
The company said that it is looking into the issue. In India too, users got upset at some places.
The bug in Twitter comes at a time when billionaire owner Elon Musk has made major layoffs at the company since taking over in October. The company working with less engineers is getting worried.
