Simranjit Singh Mann's meeting with the Central Railway Minister

Simranjit Singh Mann met Ashwini Vaishnaw: President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amintsar) and Member of Parliament from Lok Sabha constituency Sangrur Simranjit Singh Mann met with Central Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav in Delhi to resolve the various problems and demands faced by the people of the constituency. This information was given by MP Simranjit Singh Mann through his party office in Sangrur by issuing a press note. MP Mann apprised the Union Railway Minister about the various demands of the constituents and recommended laying of new railway tracks, modernization of railway stations and stoppage of different trains at different stations, which should be carefully considered. After that, the Central Railway Minister assured Simranjit Singh Mann that all possible efforts will be made to provide services by quickly looking into the demands related to the constituency recommended by him.

MP Mann has recommended to the Union Railway Minister that stoppage of the super fast train should be ensured at Sunam Udham Singh Wala station in Sangrur district and Malerkotla railway station.

Apart from this, stoppages of various trains have been recommended at Alal, Dhuri, Bharur, Gobindgarh Khokhar of District Sangrur, Tapa Mandi and Ghuns of District Barnala.

Also regarding the resumption of those general (non-suburban) second class and general passenger trains regarding the construction of a new railway track from Sirsa to Patiala via Fatehabad-Jakhal-Moonk-Patdar, about the establishment of a Railway Engineering University at Sangrur and Malwa. During the conversation with the Union Minister, Mann also took up the demand to modernize the railway stations of Sangrur, Barnala and Malerkotla districts under the constituency and said that on the basis of security, a railway line should be laid up to Leh Ladakh. He said that a direct rail connection should be established from Ferozepur to Amritsar. The Jammu to Srinagar railway line should be used for the supply of services from Srinagar, so that apples do not spoil on the roads during traffic jams.

Mann said that the provision of the above services by the Railway Department will greatly benefit the people of all sections of the constituency. He said that it is my responsibility as a Member of Parliament to provide every necessary facility from the center to the people of my constituency and he is fulfilling this responsibility well.
