Chandigarh: The Punjab Government is conducting a trial on September 9 to select the state teams for the All India Civil Services Badminton, Table Tennis and Lawn Tennis Tournaments to be held on September 24, 2021 in New Delhi.

Giving more information about this, Director Sports Mr. DPS Kharbanda said that the Central Board of Civil Services Cultural and Sports would organize the All India Civil Services Badminton Tournament (Men / Women) from September 24 to 30, 2021, while the Table Tennis and Lawn Tennis Tournament (Men / Women) would be held from September 24 to 29. From 2021, it will be launched at Tyagaraja Stadium, INA, New Delhi. He said that the sports department has decided to send state teams for these prestigious tournaments for which selection trials would be held on September 9, and badminton trials would be held at Sports Stadium, Sector-78, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) at 10:00 am, while table tennis and lawn tennis trials will be held at 10:00 am at Polo Grand, Patiala.

Mr. Kharbanda further said that the aspiring sportspersons (Government) (Regular) can participate in these tournaments after obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments for participating in these tournaments.
