Muzaffarpur: Five coaches of the Satyagraha Express train got separated from the engine near Bettiah Majhaulia station on Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj rail section of Bihar. It is being told that the coaches got separated from the engine from the moving train itself and started running on the tracks without the engine. There is no news of any casualty in this incident. For the time being, a major accident was averted. The passengers narrowly escaped. East Central Railway officials have reached the spot.

According to information, a major accident was averted on Thursday morning near Bettiah Majhaulia station on the Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj railway line. Satyagraha Express (15273) engine derailed near Mahodipur Rail Gumti between Majhaulia-Bettiah railway station leaving behind several bogies. The bogies started running on the track without the engine.

It is being told that the Raxaul-Anand Bihar Satyagraha Express left Raxaul at the scheduled time. The Mahodipur train reached near Gumti around 9 am on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, five coaches of the train got separated from the engine. Later, when the passengers came to know about this, there was chaos. Somehow the coaches were stopped. These were again connected to the engine and the train was sent ahead.
