Sant Baba Gurcharan Singh Ji, the head of Sampardai Mastuana Sahib at Talwandi Sabo in Bathinda, passed away at the age of 92. Sant Baba Gurcharan Singh was cremated at Gurdwara Bunga Mastuana Sahib. On this occasion, many personalities including Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib paid homage.
Let us tell that Sikhism was being preached by Sant Baba Gurcharan Singh Ji for the last 70 years. Religious education centers for children were established by them. They used to tell the children about Sikh history as well as principles.
On this occasion, Jathedar Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh paid homage to Sant Baba Gurcharan Singh. He has said that Sant Baba Gurcharan Singh has made special efforts for the promotion of Sikhism due to which the students have achieved great achievements.
Bunga Mastuana chief Baba Kaka Singh said that his contribution in Sikh propagation will be written in golden letters. Giani Jagtar Singh, Head Granthi of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, prayed during the last cremation. After prayers, fire was lit by five religious figures including chief Baba Kaka Singh.
