Samidha Saxena of India is included in the list of the most talented students in the world.

Samedha Saxena, a 9-year-old Indian living in America, has joined the list of the most talented students in the world. He has been given this honor by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Samadha is a fourth grader at Battery Park City School in New York City.

Sameedha excelled in many high school and college level tests. These include many tests including the SAT, ACT, school and college aptitude tests. Samedha is one of the youngest students to qualify for the CYT Global Talent Search Program at the age of 8.

While congratulating Samedha, Executive Director of CYT Dr. Amy Shelton said that passing this test does not define these students. These children love to explore and learn. I salute these children, who have so much knowledge at such a young age.

Amy added that it’s exciting to think what discoveries these kids will use their knowledge and passion to make. Their future experiences will be very happy. They will go on to accomplish remarkable things in their community and in the world.

CYT had tested 15 thousand 300 children from 76 countries in its program in the 2021-22 session. Only 27 percent of these children scored high enough to make it to the list of the brightest students. Apart from Samedha, 13-year-old Natasha Perinayagam of Indian origin living in America has also joined this list. The name of 9-year-old Aryaveer Kochhar, who lives in New Delhi, India, is also included in this list.
