Robotics lab and XR reality lab ready in government schools

Punjab School Education: Aman Arora, Minister of Employment, Skill Development and Training of Punjab, said that setting another milestone in the history of school education in the state, all the 18 students of Sunam Vidhan Sabha Constituency will be trained in order to increase the creative thinking and problem-solving ability of the students. Government senior secondary schools are being equipped with state-of-the-art robotics laboratories.

Apart from inaugurating the robotic lab set up at Shaheed Udham Singh Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) at Aman Arora Sunam, the lab equipment was also distributed to the remaining 17 senior secondary schools.

Apart from this, three XR reality labs are also being set up at Sunam’s Shaheed Udham Singh Senior Secondary School (Girls), Boys and Shaheed Bhai Mati Das Senior Secondary School Longowal with the help of German firm Miracle.10.

Aman Arora said that these state-of-the-art robotic laboratories and X-ray Reality Labs will help the students to get training in the latest technology fields like Robotics, The Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D Printing, Basics of Electronics etc. He added that the project will provide facilities in an innovative way to further enhance the knowledge skills of the students through fun learning methods.

He said that it is hoped that Sunam is also the first assembly constituency in the country which has equipped all government senior secondary schools with these hi-tech and state-of-the-art laboratories.

Aman Arora said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to bring revolution in the education sector of the state. Earlier, the state government had upgraded 117 government senior secondary schools and established “Schools of Eminence” (SOEs) and school principals were also sent to Singapore for training to hone their teaching skills. was

The Cabinet Minister said that furthering the commitment of the state government to provide quality education to the students, they have taken this initiative to set up robotic labs in all the government senior secondary schools of their constituency.

Along with this, Curious Learning Lab will provide technical training and other support to the staff of these schools as required. They will be given access to the Curious Learning Platform which will help them solve the problems around them with their innovative ideas.
