Punjab And Haryana Weather Report: The summer season has just started in the country and people are struggling with scorching sun and heat stroke. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a new alert regarding the heat wave on Monday.

According to the IMD, while the heat will show its true form in many parts of the country, there will be relief due to rain in some areas. The Meteorological Department said that a heat wave is likely to prevail in some parts of eastern India for the next four days.

Apart from this, the north-western region of the country will remain under heat for two days. However, after this the people of these areas will start getting some relief. According to the Meteorological Department, West Bengal and Bihar along the Ganga coastal areas will continue to experience heatwave conditions for the next four days. Heatwave conditions will continue in Sikkim, Odisha and Jharkhand for the next two-three days.

Relief from heat can be found in Punjab-Haryana

Apart from the heat and heat forecast, the Meteorological Department has also announced relief for some areas. On April 18-20, there may be rain here and there in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. There is a possibility of rain in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The department has predicted rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on April 18-19. Some parts of Punjab, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may experience hailstorm.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that on April 17, a monsoon will move over Punjab and Haryana. On April 18, people will be disturbed by the heat wave in various areas of western Uttar Pradesh. On April 18-19, there will be an outbreak of heat in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Apart from this, Bihar has been experiencing heat for the last three days and Andhra Pradesh for the last four days. According to the department, the Western Disturbance will become active in the Western Himalayan regions, due to which some relief can be provided from the scorching heat in the northwestern regions of the country.

Warmer than normal forecast

The Meteorological Department has predicted high temperatures from April to June in most parts of the country, except the northwest and peninsular regions. During this period, most parts of central, eastern and northwestern India are likely to experience above normal heat.
