Reliance Jio launches 5G service in Haridwar, company’s network reaches 226 cities


The country’s largest telecom company Reliance Jio has started its 5G services in Haridwar. With this, this service of the company has reached 226 cities of the country. Reliance Jio said that users of the company in Haridwar will be invited to use unlimited data up to 1 Gbps+ speed without any additional cost.

Haridwar is the second city after Dehradun in Uttarakhand which has company 5G services have been started. State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “It is a matter of great pleasure that Reliance Jio has started this service in Haridwar after Dehradun. Along with this, apart from the people of Haridwar, pilgrims coming from within the country and abroad will also benefit from this service.” Will be useful.”

Two big companies of telecom sector Bharti Airtel And Reliance Jio has set a target of converting 150 million mobile phone users to 5G by March next year. Both these companies are increasing their 5G coverage. The tariff for this high-speed service may also be increased. Executives and analysts associated with the telecom industry say that the next financial year will bring a big change for telecom companies. Along with increasing the scope of their 5G service, these companies will also focus on improving their network.

These companies can invest Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the next financial year. Over the past three years, some companies have exited the debt-laden sector. Late last year Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman said, “This year has been exciting because of 5G. This is a big step forward. We are looking forward to the rapid expansion of 5G next year.” He said that the government will continue to take measures to reduce the cost of operations of telecom operators. Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have jointly added around 2.5 million mobile subscribers in November last year. Vodafone Idea, which is facing financial difficulties, has lost about 18.3 lakh subscribers. Reliance Jio further strengthened its position by adding 14.26 lakh subscribers. Airtel has added 10.56 lakh subscribers.
