Eligibility for Chandigarh Police Recruitment
Candidates applying for the post of Constable must have passed 12th standard. Also, for ex-servicemen, either 12th pass or certificate provided in defense services is also accepted.
How much salary will you get?
If selected in the recruitment process, the candidate will be paid a salary ranging from Rs.25,600 to Rs.64,000.
Recruitment process
Selection for 700 constable posts in Chandigarh Police will be done on the basis of written examination and physical test. For this, a written exam will be conducted on July 23. It is mandatory to secure at least 40 percent marks for general category candidates and 35 percent marks for SC and OBC candidates. This will be followed by physical test after document verification. Posting will be given to the candidate based on the prepared merit.
Application fee
Unreserved category, OBC candidates applying for the recruitment of 700 posts will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 while Schedule Caste and EWS candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 800. Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.
