Ravi Shastri said, “I have achieved what I wanted to achieve for Team India in the last five years. We are the number one test team. There is no country where we have not won. ”

Ravi Shastri became the head coach of Team India after the 2017 Champions Trophy. Ravi Shastri’s tenure is till the T20 World Cup in the UAE. There are reports that the BCCI had offered Ravi Shastri to remain as coach on the tour of South Africa but he refused. Anil Kumble is leading the race to become the coach of Team India. In addition, there is talk that the BCCI may ask VVS Laxman to apply for the coaching job.
