India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is undergoing surgery and recovery after a horrific car accident in December 2022. Pant is out of action but from time to time cricketers visit his house to inspire him. After Yuvraj Singh, now Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth have met this 25-year-old player.
Raina shared a picture and wished Pant a speedy recovery while Sreesanth urged Pant to keep faith and motivation. Raina tweeted, “Brotherhood is everything..family is where our heart is..Best wishes and a speedy recovery to our brother Rishabh Pant,” Sreesanth said on Instagram, “Rishabh Pant I love you I do my brother for which you – have faith and keep inspiring.

Australian opener David Warner has been named the captain of Delhi Capitals for the upcoming IPL 2023 in Pant’s absence. Warner admitted he has “big spots to fill” at the Delhi-based franchise and said he was more motivated to win the IPL trophy for Pant.
“We are motivated every season, but we are even more motivated to win the title this year in your absence,” Warner had earlier said in a video shared by Delhi Capitals. ‘We are walking with you on your journey to recovery. We are going to send out some special messages and hope you can come to one of our games. On behalf of the DC family, I wish you all the best. Best and speedy recovery.’
