Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will soon start the second leg of the Bharat Joko Yatra. The special thing is that this time also this journey will pass through Rajasthan. Preparations are underway to take out the travel route from the southern districts.

Looking at the election environment, Rahul Gandhi will try to woo the tribal voters. His visit will be finalized by focusing on 10 Lok Sabha and 60 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Rajasthan.

The trip is likely to start from August 15 or October 2. The entire yatra route will be around 3,400 to 3,600 km long. In Rajasthan, it will cover an area of about 300 km across at least three to four districts.

Let’s know in this special report, what is the level of preparations for India Joko Yatra Part-2.

Congress National Spokesperson Pawan Khera told Bhaskar that full details of the journey from Delhi will be given to AICC regarding the final route of the journey. Level will be released soon. National President Mallikarjun Kharge is putting the finishing touches to the preparations for the Connect India trip. Kharge will take the final decision about what will be the date.

Which areas of Rajasthan will this journey pass through?

This journey will start from Porbandar in Gujarat and reach Ahmedabad. As for the route after Ahmedabad, three possibilities are being considered. From there the journey is how to enter Rajasthan and then Madhya Pradesh. Last time the journey from South to North (Kerala to Kashmir) included Rajasthan. Then the journey entered from Jhalawar and proceeded to Haryana via Alwar.

This time the southern districts of Rajasthan may be included in the route map. Sirohi, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara of South Rajasthan and Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Jhalawar, Baran etc. of Southeast Rajasthan are more likely to join them. According to the information, three possible routes have been made, let’s know what they will be.

1. The first possible way

After Ahmedabad, the journey will enter Madhya Pradesh via Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Kota, Jhalawar and then Chhattisgarh. Assembly elections are likely to be held in these three states in December. The journey from Chhattisgarh will go through eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, Assam to Arunachal Pradesh.

2. Another possible way

In this, the journey will enter Madhya Pradesh from Rajasthan through Godhra, Dahod, Neemuch-Mandsaur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh. Then Madhya Pradesh will touch Indore or Bhopal and proceed towards Chhattisgarh. The journey from Chhattisgarh will go through eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, Assam to Arunachal Pradesh.

3. The third possible way

Entering Mount Abu (Sirohi) district directly from Porbandar, the Yatra can enter Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh) via the areas of Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara.

If national spokesperson Pawan Khera is to be believed, this time the journey will be short. Hence the shortest route out of the three through which Rajasthan is possible to be included will be adopted.
