Punjab Police and BSF seized a drone with heroin

Along with the increasing cold and fog in Amritsar, there is also a rapid increase in the incidents of drones and heroin dropping from Pakistan. However, BSF and Punjab Police nab them before they can reach the criminals. On Tuesday also, a yellow packet of heroin and a drone have been caught in the border area Ratan Khurd.

Heroin worth crores and a Chinese drone have been seized from the village of Ratna Khurd bordering Pakistan on Tuesday morning. The heroin is in a yellow packet and the drone is black in color which has been caught by the BSF and Punjab Police during a search operation.

The police of Gharinda police station have registered a case and started the action. The India-Pakistan border has zero visibility due to fog, taking advantage of which heroin is dropped from there by drones. Each time heroin ranges from 500 grams to one kilo, which is worth crores in the international market. For the last two months, heroin is being dropped almost every day due to the increasing cold.
