Punjab government working for the welfare and development of all sections: Zimpa

Bram Shanker Jimpa: Cabinet Minister Punjab Brahm Shankar Zimpa said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann, the creator of the Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is working for the welfare and upliftment of all sections of the society. He said that Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar gave such a constitution to the country, thanks to which India has been established as a strong democracy and is establishing its own unique identity in the whole world.

He gave their rights to all sections of the country with respect through the constitution. Zimpa Bharat Ratna Dr. BR. Ambedkar was speaking on the occasion of paying homage to the statue installed at Bus Stand Chowk on his birth anniversary. Meanwhile, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and other dignitaries were also present with him.

The Cabinet Minister said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that today on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, we are paying tribute by remembering his deeds and achievements towards the country. He said that Babasaheb’s contribution in the construction of new India and the independence of the country is at the forefront. He said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a great scholar, jurist, economist and social reformer.

Brahm Shankar Zimpa said that the need of the hour is to implement the teachings of the Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. So everyone should resolve to raise their voice for atrocity and drug free society. He said that we should always work for social equality by taking this great personality of the country as our ideal.

He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to be aware of our rights and fulfill our responsibilities towards the society. On this occasion, Municipal Finance Committee Chairman Balwinder Bindi, Satwant Singh Ghun, Chandan Lucky, Virinder Vaid etc. were also present.
