Punjab government approved the registration of TREM-III tractors till June 30

The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has provided a major relief to the farmers of the state as it has allowed the registration of TREM-III standard tractors till June 30.

Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar made the announcement during a meeting with the representatives of the Tractor Dealers Association at his office here today and emphasized that the state government is committed to improving the economic condition of farmers as well as ensuring their well-being.

He said that the registration of TREM-III standard tractors in the state had been suspended due to conditions imposed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, due to which farmers and dealers were suffering.

The Cabinet Minister said that now farmers and dealers can register TREM-III standard tractors till June 30. He added that dealers can apply for registration through their ID and if dealer’s ID is not available, registration can be done through RTO/SDM’s ID.
