State President Raja Waring has said that the development work will be affected by this decision. He said that the Punjab government has cheated the residents of all the villages.
The state government has dissolved panchayats and appointed managers there. The Punjab government has taken this decision before the Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections. Punjab Congress state president Raja Waring has said that the unconstitutional decision of the state government to abolish Panchayati Raj has been challenged in the court.
